I grew up in Pennsylvania in a conservative Christian home where my parents instilled the values of hard work, honesty, humility, and gratitude. They taught me to always speak the truth and treat others with kindness and respect, regardless of their circumstances.

After leaving my small hometown, I proudly served 10 years in the United States Air Force as a Structural Repair Specialist. During my service, I participated in Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm, earning two Air Force Commendation Medals, three Outstanding Unit Awards, and three Good Conduct Medals.

Following my Honorable Discharge, I continued to serve my country for more than 22 years in Federal Law Enforcement. As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, I first worked at the northern border to help secure the homeland. I later transitioned to Commercial Operations, where I investigated fraudulent import practices. Over the course of my career, I helped recover more than $100 million in unpaid tariffs from companies attempting to evade their obligations.

While working full-time and raising three children as a single parent, I also built a successful online business, which I continue to run today.

In 2020, I married my wife Elizabeth, and together we moved to Rochester in 2022

​

Throughout my life, I have lived by two principles that continue to guide me today:

​

1. “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.”
   I believe we should never accept “the way it’s always been” as the best way forward. I strive to find better, more efficient solutions, and I will bring that same approach to my work as a City Councilor.

2. Take action.
   Complaining doesn’t solve problems—action does. My approach is to identify the issue, gather the facts, and work with the right people to create solutions that are practical and achievable. On City Council, I will ask tough questions, seek input, and work collaboratively to move Rochester forward.
